Sanctuary Trust Projects
Sanctuary Trust's projects are the very center of why the organisation exists. Our effort and expertise is put into creating and developing successful projects that aim to be answer to homelessness and homeless related issues. You can find out more about each of our projects here.
Innovation through consultation Sanctuary Trust's Pass It On Scheme will provide an opportunity for persons with lived experience to safely pass on their knowledge, experience and the interventions they received to the next cohort of disadvantaged people.
Homelessness Prevention will seek to offer services to homeless people from crisis intervention to resettlement into interdependent living.
Sanctuary's Halsall House hostel is located in Rochdale town centre and was our first supported housing project. The hostel has room for 13 homeless men and provides a programme to help them gain independent living and take their place in society.
The Floating Support project aims to:
- Offer follow up services to every resident of the Hostel project.
- Help residents apply for grants, set up domestic accounts and move into their own accomodation with a tapered action plan that continues from their individual hostel action plan.
