Sanctuary Trust expands vital homelessness support across Conwy and beyond.
So far this fiscal year, The Sanctuary Trust has opened five new supported accommodation projects across North Wales — the most significant regional expansion in over a decade.
This includes:
• A newly commissioned extension of our Sanctuary Trust Cornerstone project, now operating in Conwy County
• An additional new hostel in Conwy County
These services respond directly to growing regional need, as well as strategic aims to offer more beds and transitional, step-down support for those moving on from high-needs accommodation.
“Cornerstone: Albert Place marks our first Housing Support Grant-funded service in over ten years,” said Callum Hewitt, Welsh Area Coordinator.
“We’re proud to offer the next step for those who no longer require intense support in Conwy.”
Commissioned through the Housing Support Grant (HSG), Cornerstone: Albert Place is designed to help clients progress beyond crisis accommodation. It offers lower-intensity, personalised support to individuals who no longer require 24/7 input but still benefit from structure, stability, and connection.
