The Men from Llandudno Junction and Colwyn Bay get away from busy schedule to enjoy a refreshing change. The first days activity was climbing and abseiling followed by a beautiful evening relax by the harbour after the staff at the Christian Mountain Centre provided a delicious evening meal. On day two Archery was followed by sea Kayaking down the river Artro estuary.
The final day saw the whole team build “the best raft I ever seen” according to Sanctuary Trust CEO David Lackner-Smith who says he has built a few over the years on various outward bound type trips with the organisation. Judge for yourself:
Residents at Cornerstones Holborn House and Belgrave road had a “fantastic time” and one commented “I didn’t think I could do that” when referring to abseiling. A good time was had by all who say a big thank you to CMC Pensarn for their enthusiasm and expertise in making everyone feel able to join in.
