The Wellbeing Service provides dedicated support for people on probation in Greater Manchester. By offering practical help, the Wellbeing Service ensures that individuals on license have access to the tools and connections they need to make positive steps forward.
What we do
The Wellbeing Service focuses on supporting people on probation with a wide range of practical and personal needs. This includes:
Homelessness support – referrals, emergency food, and clothing for clients in crisis
Housing & ID documents – guidance to secure safe accommodation and essential paperwork
Benefits, health & wellbeing – support in navigating services around finances, physical and mental health
Groups & activities – from parenting and domestic violence courses, to therapeutic sessions in art, pottery, cooking, and walking
Safe social space – opportunities for connection and community in a welcoming environment
Specialist, on-site support is also available from our partners, including Citizens Advice Manchester, Ingeus, and POPS Family Services. Other services co-locate with us regularly to provide extra support in areas such as mental health, children’s services, family support, veterans’ services, and financial advice.
How to access
Access to the Wellbeing Service is via referral only.
This service is available to individuals on license with probation and continues until the end of their license period.
Opening hours
The Wellbeing Service has a variety of drop-in events, whilst also offering appointments to discuss possible support.
