Lyn and David work at our Pensarn Community Shop; is a charity shop with a difference. Sanctuary Trust are developing an engagement project through retail whereby we are able to provide affordable second-hand goods to the community of Pensarn and work and train existing volunteers in retail and marketing, increasing employability.
As well as managing the Community shop, Lyn and David live at one of our supported housing projects in North Wales, called Beit Tikva – a house of hope.
Beit Tikva is a Stage 2 Recovery House in North Wales for men between the ages of 22 – 65 years old. The house accommodates men who are ready to make the positive move back into community and work towards independent living; men who are looking for a shared family environment within which to make that step. Beit Tikva has x2 twin rooms and x2 single rooms, a shared TV/meeting lounge, and a communal kitchen diner. Beit Tikva also offers access to a range of training/volunteer placement opportunities and faith-based evening activities for residents.
On behalf of the Sanctuary Trust, we would like to thank Lynne and Dave for all their hard work supporting these Projects. You guys are amazing people and we appreciate your commitment to our mission statement.
